Clothing recommendation:

• Have your tattoo placement in mind when getting dressed.
• Wear comfortable, preferably dark clothes as ink could stain lighter fabrics.

Location and Punctuality:

• I work at “Atelier von Herzen” which is located at Bonner Straße 234, 50968 Köln. It’s on the third floor; look for the door with our Studio’s name on it.
• Please be on time, so that my work schedule stays on track.

Preparation and Comfort:

• Come well rested and eat and drink enough before your appointment.
• Don’t forget, tattooing always means stress for the body. If you are prone to this, bring a snack with you for in between.

Communication and Comfort:

• Feel free to discuss any nervousness or concerns.
• Make sure you are happy with the design; it is important that you feel confident and satisfied.
• If there are doubts or changes, communicate them at any point before the tattoo.
• You are welcome to take a break at any point during the tattooing process. Each pain tolerance is different!

Placement and Stencil:

• We can change the stencil as often as you like until you are 100% satisfied.
• If you want to get a tattoo in a more intimate area, we always have the option of using a smaller room in the studio with more privacy. You are welcome to take advantage of this.

Post-Tattoo Information:

• After the tattoo you will receive an After Care sheet. Please read it carefully and ask me if you have any questions.
• Even after the appointment: If you still have questions, feel free to contact me for any advice.

Photographs and Social Media:

• I will ask you if I can take photos of your tattoo. It’s perfectly fine if you don’t want me to, just let me know.
• Review pictures taken; decide if you’re comfortable with them being uploaded to social media.
• Confirm your preference regarding tagging in social media posts.
